I found Avery’s Angels Gastroschisis Foundation when I was 5 months pregnant with my daughter London. The support I found helped me through the two months she spent in the NICU and continue to help me today. London suffered from severe vomiting, acid reflux, and gas. Today she is still significantly under weight and is malnourished but is a happy and sweet little girl. After London was brought home I became a parent supporter, then the Gastroschisis Awareness Day Coordinator, and now the Southern Caifornia HUB Leader. London just recently turned 4 and it marks the 4th year I have had the pleasure of being part of an amazing organization.
