We first found out we were having a gastroschisis baby at our 12 week ultrasound and it rocked our world. The fears of the unknown were all to real. My son came home after 2 months only to be in and out for the next 6 months. In January 2013, I found AAGF on Facebook. Instantly women reached out to me from all over the country, answering questions, easing my worries. I met some awesome ladies, people who I really consider friends. I really want to be a part of making other families not feel so lonely or feel at ease that no matter how tough it gets there’s always someone there for them.
