I’m the proud mother of a two year old happy, healthy gastroschisis warrior! My son was born at 37 weeks with his stomach, spleen, large and small intestines on the outside. He was fortunate to have a truly amazing surgical team that gave him full closure the day he was born! After 25 days of care at Pittsburgh Children’s hospital we brought our wonderful belly button super hero home! I enjoy helping people and providing them with them the same support that I received during the beginning of our gastroschisis battle. I look forward to being a part of Avery Angels and helping in people in any way possible!
