My name is Lindsey Buglewicz and I live on the coast of N.C. My Gastro warrior is named Lydia and is almost 3. I am a military spouse and also a recreational therapist, working full time with disabled active duty Marines and veterans. I am thrilled to be a new member of this amazing leadership team! My heart and truest passion is to serve others, and I feel so honored to be part of this amazing foundation. 

My daughter was born in June 2016 and was in the NICU at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington as well as UNC- Chapel Hill’s NICU for more than 4 months after her birth. Although I have a medical background, our gastro journey has opened my eyes to a whole new world of surgery, IV nutrition, feeding tubes and infection. The journey has not been easy but amazingly rewarding. I look forward to serving the Eastern NC Gastroschisis community and leaders. Thanking you for the opportunity to serve!
