My name is Belinda Webster and at 10 weeks pregnant I found out my little girl was going to be born with gastroschisis. I didn’t even know what the word meant let alone what was happening to my little girl. Emerson was born at 35 weeks on November 23, 2013 with her small and large intestines out. She had a clip and drop 5 hours after she was born. Then at 4 weeks old had a second surgery to join her small intestines back together. I found Avery’s Angels once I brought Emerson home. They have helped me through a lot. I live in Australia and hope that I can help people in the same way Avery’s Angels has helped me.
